Two killed after car hits tree in Sundergarh

Sundergarh: At least two persons were killed and another sustained critical injuries after a car they were traveling in dashed against a tree near Badabahal under Bhasma police limits late on Friday night.

The deceased were identified as Roshan Nayak of Masnikani and a woman of Bhedabahal village of the district.

The incident took place after the car lost control and hit a tree on the roadside. While two died on the spot, critically injured Arati Nayak was admitted to Sundergarh district headquarters hospital (DHH) for treatment.

On receiving information, the Bhasma police reached the spot, seized the dead bodies and has started investigation into the incident.
