Two killed, 19 injured in separate road accidents in Odisha

Sundergarh/Mayurbhanj: Two persons were killed while 19 others were severely injured in separate road accidents in Odisha on Friday.

In Sundergarh, one person was killed and four others were severely injured when a barat party vehicle toppled over at Kinjirikela under Badgaon police limits.

In another incident, a pick up van overturned injuring 9 persons at Ghodamara ghat under Hemgiri police limits in the district. The van was carrying labourers from Hemgiri to Kanika.

At Mahulapalli MCL road under Sadar police station jurisdiction, two bikes collided head-on leading to severe injuries to four persons.

All the injured victims have been admitted to District headquarters hospital.

In Mayurbhanj district, a biker was killed while two others have been critically injured after a mini bus collided with a bike in Sanabantha area under Gorumahisani police limits.
