Two arrested in job fraud case

Rourkela: The Rourkela Plant Site police today arrested two persons for allegedly duping job aspirants.

The arrested were identified as Mangesh Baidya of Bhilai Chattisgarh and his security In-charge Bikram Singh. The cops also seized a Tata Safari that had a red beacon atop and other documents from their possession.

Mangesh claimed himself to be a member of Central Ministry and had opened an agency named Millionaire Associates. The matter came to light after the duo attacked a youth Bikash Sadangi, after he suspected their process of recruitment.

Police have sealed Mangesh's office at the Laxmi Complex and are interrogating the duo.

"They were allegedly conducting fake recruitments. We are verifying the official documents of the agency. Only after verification, we can ascertain the motive behind any of their activities here," said Uditnagar IIC SK Das.
