Tutor thrashed in public for eve-teasing

Bhubaneswar: A private tution teacher was soundly thrashed in public for allegedly misbehaving with an MBA girl student and making an indecent proposal yesterday. The accused has been identified as Binod Kumar Sahoo.

According to sources, Binod allegedly passed some indecent remarks to a girl student of Utkal University, who was returning to her hostel, last evening.

The girl student called her friends over phone who soon arrived at the spot, stopped Binod and thrashed him with bamboo sticks. Later, police arrived at the spot and rescued Binod.

The police have registered a case against Binod and detained him for questioning.
