Triple murder: 3 of a family killed in Subarnapur

Subarnapur:  Three members of family were brutally hacked to death at Beheramal village under Ullunda police limits in Subarnapur district last night.

The deceased have been identified as Pramod Bhoi, his daughter Bishnupriya and grand daughter Babita.

According to reports, Pramod and his two family members were attacked by one of thier neighbours Neela Pradhan over some past dispute.

Both Pramod and Bishnupriya died on the spot while Babita succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.

Following the incident, the accused Neela Pradhan has surrendered before local police station.

“We had received information about the incident yesterday. Two persons died on the spot while the other one died at the hospital. Preliminary investigation reveals that the family was attacked by thier neighbour over some past dispute,” said Birmaharajpur SDPO, Prasanna Kumar Biswal.
