Puri: Two tourists had a narrow escape today when they were pulled in by a wave here at Puri sea beach. They were saved by lifeguards.

While taking bath, a high wave dragged the two tourists to the sea. The life guards on duty, being informed immediately went on rescue operation. The tourists were safely rescued and brought to the shore from the sea by the lifeguards.

Speaking on the arrangements for the protection of tourists at sea beach, Superintendent Of Police, Puri District, Sarthak Sarangi informed that 180 lifeguards and two platoon police force have been deployed by the administration for the safety and protection of tourists visiting Puri sea beach.
