Tourist bus catches fire in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A tourist bus parked near Satsang Vihar here caught fire late on Friday night. However, no casualties were reported as nobody was present inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.

The blaze was so intense that the vehicle got completely gutted by the time the fire services personnel had reached the spot.

Sources said after receiving information about the incident at around 1 am, the fire officials rushed to the spot immediately. Though the fire officials took three hours to douse the flames, the tourist bus was completely destroyed.

Meanwhile, the Fire Services department has launched an inquiry to ascertain the reasons behind the blaze.
