Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate police on Sunday chalked out a comprehensive strategy for the security and other arrangements ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on April 15.

Police Commissioner Y.B. Khurania informed that 300 officers and 70 platoons of armed police would be deployed for the security and traffic arrangements.

“Elaborate plans will be made for the PM’s visit with special focus on security at airport, Raj Bhawan and meeting venue,” said Khurania.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the BJP’s National Executive Meeting to be held at Bhubaneswar on April 15.

BJP’s national president Amit Shah and several senior leaders including L.K. Advani and Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states would also be attending the national executive meeting of the party at Bhubaneswar.
