Thunderstorm, lightning alert for 6 districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department on Saturday issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for six districts in Odisha.

The warning has been issued from 1 pm to 4 pm for six districts—Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Gajapati.

People in these districts have been cautioned to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings and other safe locations as a precautionary measure.

IMD Bhubaneswar has also forecast heavy rainfall in the next 48 hours in Odisha.
