New Delhi/Balasore: Hours after media flashed about the inhuman activity of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawans at Balasore station in which the security personnel kicked and beaten up a Divyang on mobile phone stealing charges, Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Sunday said two RPF jawans were put under on suspension for their involvement in the case.

Prabhu informed about the Railway Ministry’s decision on suspension of the jawans in his twitter post.

Earlier, on Sunday evening, Prabhu had directed the Director General (DG) of RPF to probe the matter.

Notably, some RPF jawans had thrashed and kicked the Divyang for allegedly stealing a mobile phone from a train passenger at Platform No-4 at the Balasore station on Friday.
