Teaching wrong ways: Headmaster accused of outraging modesty of lady teacher

Bolangir: A lady teacher of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya at Puintala block in Bolangir district, on Saturday, brought sexual harassment charges against the headmaster of the school.

As per reports, the lady teacher in her complaint lodged with the Puintala police, alleged that the headmaster used to call her privately to his office room and harassed her by outraging her modesty.

“Initially, he tortured me mentally in front of students and other staff. Whenever I visited his office room with any query, he used to touch me inappropriately despite my resistance. Besides, he used to tell me 'cooperate with me and I will cooperate with you; you are already married, you shouldn't have any problem,'" alleged the teacher.

Meanwhile, police have started investigation into the sexual harassment allegations against the headmaster.
