Teacher makes student give her massage, suspended

Bhubaneswar: A woman teacher from a government school has got herself into trouble after a video showing her getting head massage from one of her student was leaked.

The video of the teacher getting massage from a girl student in a school went viral on Tuesday. It is being claimed that such incident has occurred at Sikirdi Upper Primary School in Sambalpur. Taking stern note of the incident, the teacher Bharati Meher has been suspended today evening, informed Sambalpur Collector.

Though exact date of when the incident occurred is still unclear, the teacher engaging students in private works has been condemned by several members of the civil society.

Earlier, a video of a teacher engaging students to wash her scooter was also aired by OTV on July 26.

The shocking incident was reported from Amantpur Project Upper Primary School under Baanarpaal Block of Angul district.

A day after such a report was telecast by OTV, the concerned teacher Sanjukta Majhi was suspended by the district block education officer.
