Tarang's 'Happy Lucky' gets huge response on day one

Bhubaneswar: The multi-starrer Odia movie 'Happy Lucky' of Tarang Cine Productions, which hit the silver screen amid packed theatres across Odisha today, received a huge response from the film fans on the beginning day of the show.

Heavy crowd  was witnessed at Jayashree Talkies in Cuttack  for the premier show of the movie. Film lovers from across the State rushed to the hall to enjoy the flick along with the stars.

Actors like Sambit, Elina, Jyoti and novice Sasmita greeted the huge gathering soon after they reached the theatre. They observed the response from audience inside the hall while examining their role in the movie.

The overwhelming response, however, brought relief for the stars.

"I thank Tarang Cine Productions as it created such a great movie for us. I would like to request all the movie lovers to watch it tomorrow, which is a holiday on account of Saraswati Puja. I am sure all will feel Happy and Lucky", Sambit said.

Director Sudhansu Sahoo was quite elated after a good response. "After such a huge response from the audience, I am feeling excited. Our hard labour has translated into success," he said.

The audience also appreciated the songs and the story line. "The Sambit-Elina and Jyoti-Sasmita chemistry made us frenzied. All the songs are quite entertaining," said a film fan.

The film has five songs including the title track. All of them have been composed by Prem Anand. Actress Sasmita, who is the winner of Tarang TV's reality show 'Kie Heba Mo Heroine' Season-3, made debut through this film.

Actor Babi Mishra, who played the negative role in the film, has made a comeback nearly after five years.
