Tantrik held for molesting minor girl

Berhampur: A fake tantrik has been arrested by police for molesting a minor girl under the pretext of treating her for some disease. The incident occurred in Polsara area of Ganjam district.

According to sources, the accused has been identified as Ghulam Mohammed, who hails from Tali area of Bhanjanagar.

As per allegations, the Tantrik allegedly gave a false promise to cure the minor girl of an unknown disease and molested her.

He was arrested after a case was filed with the Bhanjanagar police.

The accused will be forwarded to court today, said sources.
