Swine Flu toll mounts to 48

Bhubaneswar: The death toll in swine flu increased to 48 in Odisha as one more succumbed to H1N1 virus at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

According to health department sources, the total number of swine flu cases rose to 372 in the State so far after one more out of 12 swab samples tested positive on Monday.

A total of 1207 samples have so far been tested in the state.

Meanwhile, all private and government officials have received guidelines from the State government to make special provisions for treatment of swine flu patients.
