Bhubaneswar: Odisha is finding it difficult to get rid from the grip of deadly swine flu with the H1N1 virus claiming two more lives on Sunday taking the death toll to 52.

While one of the under-treatment patients succumbed to the infection at Cuttack SCB hospital, the other one died at SUM hospital, sources from health department said, adding that all the four swab samples sent for examination on Sunday were tested negative.

As many as 392 persons have so far been tested positive for the viral disease out of 1329 swabs sent for laboratory examination. The disease has so far refused to down ever since it was first spotted on August 5, this season.

Meanwhile, the state government has issued special guidelines to private and government hospitals and health centres to tackle the cases of infection besides issuing dos and don’ts for spreading awareness.
