Swine flu grips new areas in Odisha, 15 more infected

Bhubaneswar: Fifteen more patients in Odisha, on Tuesday, tested positive of H1N1 virus taking the total number of swine flu positive patients across the State to 155.

Out of the 30 sample of patients that were tested on Tuesday, 15 were confirmed positive of the viral infection- Keonjhar (4), Nayagarh (3), Khurda (2), Cuttack (2), Angul (1), Jajpur (1), Puri (1) and Balasore (1).

Eight samples in Sum Hospital tested positive for swine flu while in SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, KIIMS, Kalinga Hospital, AIIMS and Neelachal Hospital one swab samples each tested positive for the vector borne disease.

One sample each in AMRI and Capital Hospital also tested positive for swine flu.
