Super 30 founder Anand Kumar’s Biopic to be shot in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha will provide the apt backdrop for the Hrithik Roshan starrer biopic on Super 30 founder Anand Kumar. As per the makers, some crucial parts of the Bollywood film will be shot in the state.

At a presser here on Sunday, writer of the biopic Sanjeev Dutt said that the shooting of the movie will begin from January 15, 2018.

“People will be delighted to watch an acting superstar playing the role of an education superstar. The movie has a major schedule that will be shot in Odisha,” he added.

“We want to motivate students from Odisha through the movie. It will also enhance their self-confidence,” said director AB Singh of Aakash Institute that has a tie-up with the Super 30.

Meanwhile, Anand Kumar said, “The society needs a movie that can inspire students coming from all sections of the society to dream big and strive to achieve it.”

Students need to keep their mind and heart focused in the right direction and  Sanjeev Dutt has written the film keeping this in mind, said Kumar.

While Roshan will essay the role of the mathematics teacher and IIT-JEE coach Kumar, Vikas Bahl is likely to direct the biopic.

The film will showcase the process through which 30 students of Kumar undergo a pivotal change in their careers and how Super 30 became a brand to be reckoned with.

The shooting of the movie is expected to be completed by October as it will hit the theaters across the country in November 2018.
