Students will have to take admission in upper choice colleges by July 17: DHE

Bhubaneswar: Students seeking admission to plus II courses who have been slid up during 2nd and 3rd selection will have to compulsorily take admission in their upper choice colleges, the Department of Higher Education (DHE) said on Tuesday.

Informing about the development in a directive issued on Tuesday, the department has asked students to take admission in the colleges to which they have been promoted before July 17.

Students who have not yet taken admission should do so before the designated date failing which they will be barred from taking admission this academic year, it said.

Students can download their intimation letter from www.dheodisha.gov.in, and follow their admission process, the directive said.

Similarly, plus II pass students selected for admission into plus III courses will also have to follow the same guidelines.

The DHE has already released the second selection list of +3 admissions on July 7. The admission will begin from July 13 till July 14 and the third list will be out on July 18.
