Bhubaneswar: Students across the State have welcomed online fill-up of the Common Application Form (CAF) for admission into Plus II courses in junior colleges as well as offline availability of the form from Monday.

A girl student at the SAMS centre at BJB College in Bhubaneswar said, “I would like to thank the State government for introducing online form fill up. The process is really hassle-free and fast.”

Expressing similar views, another student stated, “The move is really good. With one application form, we can apply for six colleges which is actually a wise decision by the government.”

In case of any difficulties, students can get assistance at the help desk set up at one of the 620 SAMS centres or call Sanjog Helpline at toll free number – 155335.

Students can apply for admission online through www.dheodisha.gov.in while students having no internet facilities in their area can apply at their nearest college.

As per the stipulation, a student can give his/her option for a maximum of six colleges for admission.

The last date of application for online and offline admission is June 6 and 7 respectively.

The first cut-off list would be announced on June 13 and the first phase admission will be held between June 16 and 21. The second cut-off list would be announced on June 25, the notification said.

The second selection merit list will be announced on June 25 and admission of eligible applicants will be done from June 27 to June 29.

Second selection admission data updation on by the colleges in their e-Space is July 1.

Third selection merit list will be announced on July 4 and admission of students will take place from July 8 to July 9. The admission data updation on e-Space is July 12.

Classes of Plus II first year students will begin on July 14.

Second phase admission will start 10 days after the announcement of Instant and Supplementary results.
