Balasore/Bhadrak: As many as 19 students fell ill after they were vaccinated for measles rubella in Balasore, Bhadrak and Kalahandi districts on Tuesday.

As per reports, 10 students from Balasore, five from Bhawanipatna and four from Bhadrak were hospitalised after the vaccination.
Besides, several students across the state reportedly experienced dizziness and fell unconscious in their classrooms after the vaccination.

Meanwhile, the rubella vaccination drive has created fears in the minds of students and guardians.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had on Monday flagged off the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign which is expected to cover around 1.13 crore children in the State.
