Students allege molestation by school headmaster in Bonai

Bonai: Alleging molestation some students of Jemamani High School under Tikayatpali police limits in Bonai lodged a police complaint against the school's headmaster on Sunday evening.

In the complaint, the students stated the headmaster had molested them on February 23 after showing obscene videos.

The incident occurred while the students were staying at a rented house near Gogua High school where they had appeared for the Matriculation exam conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).

As per reports, the students had informed their parents about the matter and tried to lodge a complaint at the police station, but they failed as police did not cooperate.

Later the students along with their parents met the Sundergarh sub-collector and sought his intervention. After that a case was registered against the headmaster.

Sources said the headmaster is absconding following the incident.
