Student unrest continues at Salipur Pharmacy College

Salepur: Unrest continued over the accident of a student of the Institute of Pharmacy and Technology in Salipur despite sine die declared by college authorities. The college authorities had declared sine die following ransacking of the college by irate students. However, despite sine die being in force, the students locked the principal’s office along with the main gate of the college.

Notably, a student of the college met with an accident couple of days back. The protesting students alleged that the college authorities failed to even meet the student who is still in critical condition. The students are also demanding Ambulance services and fast aid facilities in college.

The students yesterday staged a road blockade over their demands by burning tyres. College authorities declared a sine die after discussion with the irate students failed to yield any results.
