Bhubaneswar: Condemning the violent attack on a student Congress worker here late last night, the party members today demanded immediate arrest of the accused.

"A proper investigation into the attack can only bring the accused to book. We will resort to mass protest if police fails to arrest the accused at the earliest," said Student Congress president Itish Pradhan.

It is alleged a student Congress leader was attacked and threatened near a club in Unit 8 at around 8pm on Monday.

A case has been registered in this connection.
