Student among 3 killed in car-truck collision

Bhubaneswar: In a deadly road accident, three persons, including a student, were killed at Anantpur near Balianta in Khurda district today. Another person who was seriously injured in the accident has been shifted to Cuttack hospital.

According to sources, the accident occurred when a car on its way from nearby Sailo village dashed against a mini truck.

The bodies of the deceased have been kept at a Cuttack hospital.

Meanwhile, irate over the accident, locals staged a road blockade on the Phulnakhara-Niali road.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
