Smriti Irani arrives in Bhubaneswar, to address presser at BJP headquarters

Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani arrived in Bhubaneswar today morning.

According to sources, she first visited Weavers' Service Centre at Saheed Nagar here and later attended an intellectual meet at Hotel The New Marrion at 11 am.

As per the schedule, she will also address a press conference around 1 pm at the BJP state headquarters.

Later in the day, Irani will be a part of  'Sampark for Samarthan' (Contact for Support) program at 4.30 pm and will return to Delhi in the evening, sources said.

As part of the BJP's efforts to reach out to people for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, party President Amit Shah on May 29 kick started the personal contact campaign(Sampark for Samarthan) to generate awareness about the Narendra Modi government's achievements so far.
