Kendrapara: The police today arrested six persons in connection with yesterday's group clash at Baghilo village of the district.

The ongoing feud over a land-related matter took violent turn yesterday at Baghilo village as two warring groups fought a pitched battle by attacking one another by lathis and pelting stones in which six persons were injured.

A large police force has been deployed in the village, said Sub Divisional Police Officer, Kedarnath Sahu.

Six persons from the groups who perpetrated the violence have been taken into custody, he added.
