Berhampur: A four-member team of Special Investigating team (SIT) of Crime Branch headed by an additional SP ranked officer today visited Paralakhemundi to start the second phase probe into the controversial suicide pact by the four family members of the Parala king's manager.

The CB sleuths are expected to interrogate family members and some close relatives of Patra. Besides, some officials of the royal palace are likely to be quizzed, sources said.

While the Crime Branch has given a clean chit to the Patras in the property grabbing case, it will look for other angels which forced them to take the extreme step.

The viscera test report of Tulu Patra, Anang's brother, confirmed that his death was due to drug overdose.

Ananga Manjari Patra and her brother Sanjay, both formerly managers to Parala King Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo and the royal estate, were found dead in their home in Paralakhemundi along with another sister Bijaylaxmi on August 22.

While three including Anang had died after consuming poison, Tulu Patra, rescued in a critical condition from the spot, died in the following day at the MKCG medical college and hospital in Berhampur.
