Bhubaneswar: To elicit more information on the financial scams committed by Artha Tatwa Group (AT), the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) officials started grilling the accused for the third day on Wednesday at the Jharpada circle jail in Bhubaneswar.

A five-member team of SFIO had yesterday interrogated AT Group chief Pradeep Sethy, Manoj Patnaik, Jyotiprakash Jayprakash, Srikrushna Padhi and Deepak Parekh at the jail on the corporate fraud.

Initially, the five accused were grilled individually in different rooms and later together by the SFIO personnel.

Notably, the SFIO investigation is being conducted on the order of the Special CBI designated court in Bhubaneswar. The court had ordered SFIO to interrogate AT Group's chairman and directors and submit a report within a month.

The Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate have also launched probes into the chit-fund scam and money laundering activities committed by Artha Tatwa Group.
