Bhubaneswar: The PhD student who had lodged a sexual harassment complaint against a senior professor of IIT Bhubaneswar knocked the doors of Naveen Nivas today seeking justice.

She submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik demanding action against the professor.

Prior to it, the woman had visited the State BJP office and submitted a memorandum addressed to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and State BJP President Basant Panda.

Earlier on Friday, the woman, hailing from West Bengal, had lodged an FIR at Mahila police station here alleging sexual harassment by IIT Bhubaneswar Professor PD Reddy and some officials of the institute for helping him.

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of IIT Bhubaneswar had earlier conducted a probe on the allegations and termed the allegations baseless in its report.  The woman had however challenged the report’s veracity.
