Sex tape and murder: Autopsy reveals Unmay Padhi was burnt alive

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking revelation in the Khuakhai murder case, it has been now ascertained that Unmay Padhi was brutally attacked and stabbed before he was burnt alive.

As per the post-mortem report, involvement of more than one person is suspected as there were multiple injuries on his head and stomach.

Though the exact motive behind the murder is still unclear, the post-mortem findings could assist senior officials of Commissionerate Police to conduct further investigation, said sources.

Earlier last week, the half-burnt body of Unmay Padhi of BJB Nagar in Bhubaneswar was recovered from Kuakhai riverbed.

Later, family members had alleged that Unmay was murdered over a sex tape that had gone viral barely few days prior to his murder.

Earlier last year, Unmay was also arrested in connection with the video clip.

Yesterday, Police had detained three persons including the woman, who is seen with deceased Unmay in the sex tape.

The point of suspicion is now on the woman and her boyfriend who are being interrogated by Commissionerate Police, informed sources.
