Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police (CP) today summoned the owner of the house where a woman from Uzbekistan was allegedly running a sex racket in the Capital city.

The house owner of Plot-28 in Patia’s Maruti Villa is reportedly a Kolkata-based businessman. He has been asked to appear before the police within two days for questioning.

As per reports, the businessman has assured the police to come to the city soon. However, if he fails to give satisfactory answer, the house will be declared a "brothel house", said police sources.

The woman was arrested by the Kharvel Nagar police for misbehaving and attacking police personnel in an inebriated state near the city railway station on July 23. While she is believed to be an Uzbekistan national, an Aadhaar card with Delhi address was found from her possession which has put her identity in suspicion.
