Sex racket busted in city, 6 held

Cuttack: Mangalabag police today busted a sex racket in Ranihat area in the city and arrested six persons.

Acting on a tip-off about flesh trade in the locality, a team of Mangalabag police rushed to the spot and arrested two women and four customers. Police also seized some objectionable items from their possession.

While the customers are yet to be identified, the two arrested woman are said to be from Jagatsinghpur district.

However, Mitua, the house owner, who was running the racket, managed to flee. Efforts are on to nab him, police said.

Sources in the locality said the sex racket was operating in the area for a long time.
