Sex racket busted in Berhampur, six held

Berhampur: Police on Friday busted a sex racket running from a rented house in Presidency Apartment under Gosani Nuagaon police limits here.

As per reports, the kingpin of the racket, a woman, was arrested along with three brokers, one customer and a sex worker. While the woman kingpin was identified to be a resident of Cuttack, two among the brokers are Manoj Mohanty of Berhampur and Debasish Digal of Daringbadi.

Similarly, the customer identified as B Rajendra Reddy is a resident of Aska and the sex worker is a native of West Bengal.

Meanwhile, the owner of the house is absconding. A case (59/18) has been registered at Goshani Nuagaon police station under section 3/4/7 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act and investigation is on.
