Puri:  The Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) today suspended Gadadhar Dixit, a servitor of Suar Nijog in connection with the sale of Prasad allegedly without being offered to the Trinity.

After considering the inquiry report of commander and supervisor, the SJTA today suspended Dixit. It was alleged that Dixit had sold Dal Prasad at Anand Bazar on the temple premises without offering it to the deities as per rituals on January 4.

Earlier, Mahasuar Nijog had suspended Dixit after some servitors of Suar Nijog lodged a complaint regarding such violation of the temple rituals.
