New Delhi: Jaga, one of the separated conjoined twins who has been recuperating faster than his twin brother Kalia following the separation surgery, underwent skin grafting today.

According to sources, the grafting was carried out on Jaga’s skull with skins from other parts of his body. His skull was separated from his brother Kalia.

The grafting was carried out by an experienced team of doctors from Neuro Anaesthesia and Plastic Surgery departments of AIIMS, New Delhi.

Sources informed that Jaga was taken to the operation theatre for grafting at around 9 AM today and the surgery went on for two and a half hours.

The health condition of both Jaga and Kalia is reported to be stable.
