Bhubaneswar: A high-level meeting presided by State Election Commission (SEC) RN Senapati will be held today at the State Secretariat here to talk about measures to ensure impartial and organised panchayat polls starting February 13 in Odisha.

Law and order situation, security arrangements at sensitive polling booths and implementation of the model code of conduct will be discussed at the meeting.

Chief Secretary AP Padhi, Home Secretary Asit Tripathy, DGP KB Singh, Development Commissioner, Panchayati Raj Secretary, all district collectors and SPs will be in attendance during the discussion.

Notably, the polls will be held in phases on February 13, 15, 17, 19 and 21.
