Bhubaneswar: After a long summer vacation of nearly two months, schools and other educational institutions in Odisha reopened today.

Educational centres had been shut down by the State Government from April 26 in view of severe heat wave. Only few summer camps had been organised by some schools and institutes during this period.

With reopening of the schools, increase in footfall was seen at books and stationary marts, cloth stores and footwear shops at many places with parents jostling to purchase material for their children.
