Cuttack: A girl student of Sailabala Women's College has brought charges of misbehaviour against a BJP worker here on Tuesday.

The girl said the activists of the saffron party first burnt tyres in front of the college and threatened the students not to enter the college. "But when I tried to enter the college, they held my cycle and some other, 6 to 7 boys, held my hand and misbehaved with me," said the girl Supriti Samal.

The students of the college have threatened to seek police help if such incident happens again.

"We are not taking serious action since this is the first instance but won't let it go if they do such things again. They will face dire consequences for any such act further," said president of the college Dipika Sahu.

Meanwhile, the BJP is yet to comment on the issue.
