Bhubaneswar: It was a golden moment for Odia kid Satyajit Jena yesterday evening when in the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs 2017  of Zee Tv, music legend A R Rahman offered a week internship to Jena at his studio in Chennai. This was the reward that Satyajit received for his rendition of Roja title track and singing his self composition.

The 12-year old singer from Anandpur of Keonjhar district impressed Rahman besides all the jury members with his song 'Roja Janeman'. Soon after Rahman lauded Jena and asked him about his tryst with composing music. On the legend's request, Jena sung Sab mata aur pita ke charnon.... written by Himesh Reshammiya.

The little one scored 99 per cent marks from jury members but hit a century by winning Rahman's applauds who promptly asked him to join his studio for a week's internship.

"Many other contestants had scored better than Satyajit, but Rahman sir chose Satyajit and that was a moment of celebration, '' said Guman Charan Jena, father of Satyajit. "You are welcome to my studio for one week for internship", Rahman offered.

Satyajit is leaving for Chennai shortly from Mumbai, an elated Guman said.

Satyajit had received highest percentage of voting for his chartbuster performance in the last episode. He has become one of the most adorable participants in the programme for his voice and feel with which he sings.
Hope, the little wonder keeps the winning streak till he emerges as winner of the show.
