Rs 6 lakh looted from woman in front of police station

Cuttack: Two unidentified bike-borne miscreants allegedly snatched a bag containing Rs 6 lakh cash from a woman in front the Madhupatna Police Station in Cuttack on Saturday and fled from the spot.

The incident occurred when the woman was returning from the State Bank of India's Arunodaya Market branch after withdrawing money.

The miscreants snatched the bag containing cash from the woman who was on a bike with her cousin.

Police have launched a probe into the matter after the victim lodged a complaint at Madhupatna Police Station.
