Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi, on Friday, held a review meeting with senior officials on the security and other arrangements ahead of Prime Minster Narendra Modi’s Odisha visit on April 15. He will be attending the two-day national executive meet here in Bhubaneswar.

The review assumes significance as the Maoists had blown up a railway station in Rayagada district last month protesting PM's visit and issued threats through posters two days back.

Director General of Police K.B. Singh, Intelligence Director and Khurda Collector also attended the review meet.

The visit assumes significance in the backdrop of the superb show put up the Odisha BJP unit in the recently concluded panchayat elections.

“We have received a detailed tour programme of the PM's visit to Bhubaneswar on April 15 and arrangements will be made accordingly, from his arrival at airport, to his stay at Raj Bhawan and meeting venue at Janta Maidan,” said Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi.
