Keonjhar: Vigilance sleuths today arrested the revenue inspector of Raisuan panchayat in Keonjhar district and his office peon for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 for demarcation of a land.

A seven-member team of the anti-corruption wing, led by Keonjhar Vigilance DSP Harekrushna Majhi, caught the accused persons redhanded while taking bribe from one Ajit Kumar Nayak.

The accused RI and peon have been identified as Banchhanidhi Satpathy and Taranisen Patra respectively.

Both the accused have been taken into custody and interrogation is underway, said Majhi.
