Registration for SSC JE Group-B begins; apply on ssc.nic.in

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Online registration for recruitment of Junior Engineers Group-B (Non-Gazetted) posts has begun, said a notification issued by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

Computer-based written examination will be conducted by the Commission from January 5 to 8, 2018.

The last date to submit application is November 17 and the application fee is Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes, Physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen will not have to pay anything towards exam fee.

Candidates can apply for the posts at www.ssc.nic.in.

Candidates with degree or diploma in the concerned disciplines are eligible to apply.

The examination will be held for civil, mechanical, electrical, quantity surveying and contract engineers.

The written exam will have two papers: Computer based Objective and conventional written exam.

Paper 1 will have questions related to General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness, General Engineering whereas Paper 2 will comprise of questions from general engineering. The duration of the exam will be two hours.

Persons suffering from disabilities of forty percent (40%) and above of One Arm, One Leg, Hearing Handicapped are suitable for the posts, the notification stated.
