Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate police on Tuesday arrested one more accused in the razor attack case which had left six people in Baramunda-Siripur area injured here on Sunday. Though the accused, already identified by the police as Ashis Behera was on the run, police was able to arrest him from Kendrapara, Police Commissioner YB Khurania said.

“Our special team formed to nab the two accused has arrested Ashis. We have launched a manhunt to trace the third accused Bharat Panda,” Khurania added.

The official stated both Behera and Panda are engineering graduates. Sources said Behera is working in a private company here.

Earlier on Monday, Amit Mohapatra, one of the three accused was arrested from Goutam Nagar area near Rupali square.
On Sunday evening, these three riding a black Pulsar bike, had attacked six people with a razor on Baramunda-Siripur road. The victims had sustained injuries on face, hand and neck. The three miscreants also looted valuables from some passersby.
