Ravenshaw campus poll to be held in line with general polls

Cuttack: Students’ Union at the Ravenshaw University is rechristened as Students’ Council and, henceforth, campus poll process will be held in line with general polls, said an official of the varsity today.

After a meeting chaired by Vice Chancellor PC Sarangi at the university, varsity sources stated that this year students’ representatives will be elected from nine schools of Ravenshaw.

Besides, every section will have representatives in the students’ council of each of the nine schools.

In every council, there will be positions for a convener and a deputy convener.
