Bhubaneswar: To every sweet tooth's delight, various type of Rasagolas adorned the ‘Rasagola Mahotsav' held for the first time in the capital city today.

The main attraction of the Mahotsav was the giant size Rasagolas seeking entry into the Guinness Book of World Records. There was a special selfie zone to take selfies with the huge Rasagolas.

Sources said, people who are not only interested in eating Rasagolas but eager to know more about the sweet's history and preparation process can learn it from the researchers, scientists and businessmen present in the Mahotsav.

An interesting musical number over Rasagola was also released during the event. Along with it the audio of Ollywood movie 'Happy Lucky' was also released during the cultural programme on the sidelines of the Mahotsav.

The 'Rasagola Mahotsav' was held at the BMC Kalyan Mandap in Chandrasekharpur. It commenced at four in the afternoon and continued till 10 pm today. The event was being organised by Odisha Television Network.

“It is a small effort from OTV Network to bind some emotions through Rasagola as it is deeply related with the Odia culture, tradition and Lord Jagannath. We want that all should love Rasagola and celebrate the sweet. We have the right to say it as ours,” said Ranjan Satpathy, Creative Head, Tarang Cine Productions.
