Rape attempt on minor at Rourkela railway station

Rourkela: Tension prevailed on the premises of Rourkela Railway Station over an alleged rape attempt on a minor girl by two youths at the public toilet of the station today.

As per reports, the 13-year-old girl, a resident of Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district, had arrived at the station with her family. As per the complaint the girl had gone to the toilet when the caretaker of the toilet and his friend molested her.

The duo was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at that time. Meanwhile, the accused persons are absconding.
