Rape attempt on 3-yr old in Sambalpur Sadar hospital

Sambalpur: A rape attempt on a 3-year-old girl in Sadar Hospital here on Tuesday has shocked one and all.

According to sources, some unidentified person allegedly lured the girl away from her mother who was admitted at the hospital and later sexually harassed her.

After coming to know about the incident, the family members of the girl lodged an FIR at the town police station late Tuesday night. Police has registered a case in this regard and initiated a probe into the incident today.

Medical examination of the girl and test of some suspects will also be conducted today. The CCTV cameras installed on the hospital premises would also be checked for ascertaining the actual happening, police said.
