Ramanaguda assistant engineer in Vigilance net

Rayagada: Vigilance sleuths on Saturday conducted simultaneous raids at three places including the government quarter of Ramanaguda block assistant engineer Prasant Panigrhai on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Reports said, the anti-corruption officials also raided Panigrahi’s two houses at Berhampur and Aska simultaneously.

During the raid, the Vigilance team has laid its hands on some incriminating documents and bank passbooks in the name of Panigrahi.

Till the last report came in, raids are being carried out at Panigrahi’s residence.
